Documents available have exposed how a shocking amount of Gh¢28.2 million payment was made towards the building of the ongoing National Cathedral Project.
Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the Member of Parliament (MP) for North Tongu Constituency has revealed new documents on payments made on the National Cathedral Project where a sum of Gh¢28.2 million was paid.
Okudzeto Ablakwa in a statement said he has in his possession documents of Enterprise Insurance, a company Ken Ofori-Atta is intimately associated with and where his wife serves as a director was granted a deal to insure the entire cathedral construction site.
“Latest Cathedral documents I am analyzing expose a shocking payment of an unbelievable GHS28.2million (GHS28,244,716.97) from Ghanaian taxpayer funds to one Mr. Cary Summers, an American President & CEO of the Nehemiah Group.”

“Mr. Cary Summers is described on the website of President Akufo-Addo’s Cathedral as a “Consultant for the United States.””
