Lawyer Acheampong Yaw Boafo, a son of Mr Samuel Kwaku Boafo, also a lawyer and former MP for Subin in the Ashanti Region is private legal practitioner based in Kumasi.
He is from the S.K. Boafo Partners and Associates and has over 25 years experience in commercial Law cases. Currently, he is the President for the Ghana Bar Association.
In 1994, he was called to the Bar of England and Wales and by 1995 he had enrolled on the Roll of Lawyers.

Lawyer Yaw Boafo had his basic education in Kumasi, Ashanti Region where he lived with his parents then.
He furthered and had his secondary education at Prempeh College, a public senior high school in Kumasi for his O and A levels. He later had his bachelor’s degree and qualified as Lawyer in England.
When he returned from England, He enrolled at the Ghana Law school and successfully completed in 1995. In 1997, he was called to the Bar in Ghana.
