The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released full list of 528 Basic Schools that failed to upload Candidates Continuous Assessment Scores (CASS) for the 2023 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has in a letter dated 27th June, 2023 informed the Director-General that the deadline for the capture and uploading of candidates’ Continuous Assessment Scores (CASS) ended on Wednesday, 21st June, 2023.

However, there are five hundred and twenty-eight (528) schools (both public and private) with a total number of sixteen thousand, seven hundred and sixty-three (16,763) candidates have still not uploaded their CASS.

In view of the above, WAEC has extended the period to 14th July, 2023 for the outstanding schools to capture and upload their scores.

By this letter, Regional Directors are requested to bring this information to the attention of the Metro/Municipal/District Directors of the affected schools and impress upon the Heads to upload their scores before the 14th July, 2023 deadline to enable WAEC meet timelines for key activities regarding the examination.
