PRESEC Legon has outstanding records in the bragging competition since its inception in 1994.

1. PRESEC Legon won the 2022 NSMQ contest against Prempeh College and Adisadal College.
2. PRESEC Legon is NSMQ record holders (Most trophies).
3. PRESEC Legon is 7-time champions (1995, 2003, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2020 and 2022) of the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ).
4. PRESEC Legon made eleven (11) appearances at the grand finale of the NSMQ.
5. PRESEC Legon becomes 1st Runner-up (2nd position) on four (4) occasions in the NSMQ.
6. PRESEC Legon is the only school to win trophy back-to-back in NSMQ.
7. PRESEC Legon is the reigning Greater Accra Regional Champions of the NSMQ.
8. PRESEC Legon becomes the 3-time Regional Champions (2020, 2021 and 2022) of the NSMQ.
