One of Citi FM’s long serving Journalists said, the ’intended’ resignation of the North Tongu Lawmaker Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa from the Appointments Committee of Parliament is truly heartbreaking.

According to him, Mr. Ablakwa is a huge asset for the Appointments Committee and his exit should devastate anyone regardless of where one stands with the slightest of interests in how our Parliament works.
In a statement, Richard Dela Sky believes that, the eight (8th) Parliament of the 4th Republic that was expected to be ‘The Ish Parliament of the Republic’ because of the historic closeness of the numbers appears to be failing its promise.

He has therefore called on leadership to do something as early as possible to protect the image of Parliament. “Something MUST change soon.” He said.

The letter was delivered to the Speaker, Alban Bagbin and the Minority Leader, Haruna Idrissu following his resignation.
