Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, the former Minister of Communications, has drawn attention to a national issue related to the results of the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE). He highlighted the worrying number of candidates who got aggregates from 25 and 35, and called for immediate action to address the issue.

After the release of the Computerized School Selection Placement, some parents expressed their dissatisfaction with their children’s school placements.

A student with an aggregate of 34 was not placed in a school of their choice, while another student with an aggregate of 35 secured their top school preference. The situation has sparked conversations on social media.
