Alfred Schreuder, Ajax coach says he is not aware that the Ghanaian players Kudus Mohammed is leaving his club.
In an interview, he said, “I’ve not heard anything. I don’t think he should leave. You can see that he’s an important player. We need a lot of good players.”
This is in sharp contrast with all the media reports that his move to Everton is at pace. I’ve asked my contact at one of the top English papers based in Liverpool again, now.
Response: “I’m quite sure Kudus to Everton will be over the line before long. Not long to go. Lampard badly needs a ball progressor and his options are very limited now.
“Kudus Mohammed clearly is not happy and is excited to come. Unless Ajax stop him somehow, it’s a done deal”.
Clearly, Alfred Schreuder wants the Ghanaian to stay. But will he?
The saga continues.
