Alan White was an English musician and drummer, who was known for the progressive rock band Yes, which he joined in 1972. He went to Yes as a replacement drummer for their best and first drummer Bill Bruford.

In the year 2015, Alan became the longest-serving member of the band after the death of their bassist Chris Squire.  Alan was also the only person to have never left the band aside Chris.

Before his demise, he was a member of the band. He served as a best man at Jon Anderson’s wedding in the year 1997. He was active in his career as a drummer cum musician from 1967 to 2022.
