Audit report exonerates Jonathan Dzunu SRC Administration of Dambai College of Education

An Audit report intercepted by Coverghana.com.gh has exonerated Mr. Jonathan Dzunu Students’ Representative Council (SRC) led Administration of the Dambai College of Education.

The Head of Internal Audit Unit of the Dambai College of Education Mr. Selorm Corbi Agbolosu has released the audit report of the 2019/2020 and 2020/2021 Academic Year for the College’s Student Representative Council (SRC) under Jonathan Dzunu’s Presidency.

The report, which covers the two year tenure of Jonathan Dzunu, the SRC President, was part of mechanisms put in place to make sure dues paid by teacher trainees in the College to the SRC account are put to proper and profitable use.

The report also indicated that, the College Management played a vital and important role in making sure the SRC Executives make judicious use of funds available to them.

According to the report, the Audit Unit was duly served with all payment vouchers demanded for verification and scrunity. The Unit therefore commend the SRC Leaders under Jonathan Dzunu’s two terms administration for ensuring the payment vouchers were raised for all payment to be effected for goods and services.

According to the Internal Audit, Management of the Dambai College of Education has also help the SRC Executive Officers to a larger extend by putting in place adequate measures whereby requisition for Fund need pass through appropriate procedures which put much control on the Students fund usage.

All cash payments by the Jonathan Dzunu SRC Executive Officers for any transactions to be undertaken are also guided by the College manage and the Dean of Students.

According to the Head of the Internal Audit Unit Selorm Corbi Agbolosu, the SRC and Management of the College have put in place proper procedures that lead to ensuring value for students money and satisfactory.

The Audit report also indicated that, the book of account as presented by the Jonathan Dzunu SRC administration represent a true and fair view of all activities and transactions undertaken on behalf of the entire student body.

Jonathan Dzunu is currently the National President of the Teacher Trainees’ Association of Ghana (TTAG) for the 2021/2022 TTAG year. He was elected at the 26th National Delegates Congress of TTAG held at Tamale College of Education on January 7, 2022.

Mr. Jonathan Dzunu is a level four (4) hundred student of the Dambai College of Education.
