A former minister for communication Mr. Felix Ofosu-Kwakye has described the Sinohydro agreement between the Government of Ghana and a Chinese company as a hoax.

It could be recalled that the Government of Ghana signed a barter agreement with a Chinese company to provide the country with some infastracture in exchange for bauxite.

However, some years after the agreement was signed, it seems much have not been seen in the execution of the agreement.

Mr. Felix Ofosu-Kwakye who was among persons who doubted the feasibility of the agreement prior to signing says the contract was a hoax.

“I am still trying to wrap my mind around how anyone believed the Sinohydro hoax.That the Chinese company was going to pump $2billion into infrastructure in Ghana and process our bauxite in return under some barter arrangement.Where do the NPP learn their confidence trickery from?”, Mr. Felix Ofosu-Kwakye stated in a tweet.
