William Felton Russell popularly called Bill Russell was a famous American professional basketball player who played as a center for the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Bill Russell in his career as a basketball player played from the year 1956 to 1969 and won five-times the NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP) and a 12-time NBA All-Star.
