Dr. Eugene Kwarteng-Nantwi Biography

Dr. Eugene Kwarteng-Nantwi is a Ghanaian who hails from Dwenase in the Eastern Region of Ghana. He is a devoted Christian and a married man with children.

Dr. Eugene Kwarteng-Nantwi is a professional in Guidance and Counselling and Senior Lecturer at the University of Cape Coast.

Dr. Eugene Kwarteng-Nantwi Educational and Professional Background

• Eugene Kwarteng-Nantwi, PhD, a professional in Guidance and Counselling Senior Lecturer, had his GCE Ordinary Level education at Oda Secondary School from 1987 to 1992.

• He had his GCE Advanced Level (‘A’ level) at Pope John Secondary School and Junior Seminary between 1992 and 1994.

• He holds a Bachelor of Education (Psychology) from the University of Cape Coast between 1997 and 2001.

• He holds a Master of Education (Guidance & Counselling) from University of Cape Coast between 2009 and 2013.

• He also holds Doctor of Philosophy degree in Educational Guidance and Counselling from the University of Cape Coast from 2015 to 2019.

Dr. Eugene Kwarteng-Nantwi Leadership and Administrative Positions Held.

• Dr. Eugene Kwarteng-Nantwi is currently a Senior Lecturer and a counselling psychologist at the counselling centre in the University of Cape Coast.

• Presently, he is the coordinator of a partnership between Howard Community College in Maryland, USA and the University of Cape Coast, Ghana.

• He is also a member of the Faculty of Educational Foundations Board.

• In addition, he is the coordinator of a peer-counselling programme at the counselling centre dubbed: The Young and Wise.

• He is also a member of The Advancement and Rebranding Committee formed by the Vice Chancellor in 2019, as part of the Vice Chancellor’s strategy and vision for the University.
