The Bueman Senior High School (BUSEC) has been crowned winners of the maiden Buem Quiz Competition (BQC).
The Buem Quiz Competition, organised by the Presiding Member for the Jasikan Municipal Assembly, Hon. Jacintho Andrews, was aimed at promoting education and creating a healthy environment for schools within the Jasikan Municipality to learn from each other.
The competition, which was held on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at the Auditorium of the Presbyterian Church – Jasikan, saw four (4) Senior High Schools from the Municipality contesting.
The participating schools were Bueman Senior High School, Okagyakrom Senior High/Technical School, Baglo Ridge Senior High/Technical School and Father Dogli Memorial Technical Institute.
BUSEC was crowned winners after it scored 45 cumulative points at the end of the three rounds.
Baglo Ridge Senior High/Technical School, Father Dogli Memorial Technical Institute and Okagyakrom Senior High/Technical School came 2nd, 3rd and 4th with a total of 34, 33 and 32 points respectfully.
Mr. Jacintho Andrews, speaking at the event, indicated that, the event has been scheduled to take place twice every year.
