Calvin John Robinson is a Conservative political pundit, writer, and broadcaster from the United Kingdom. He has been a deacon in the Free Church of England, a conservative, evangelical church organization with approximately 2,300 members and 18 churches, since 2022.
Robinson is of mixed ancestry. He characterizes himself as “half white, half black,” as well as “half British, half Afro-Caribbean.” His paternal grandparents were Windrush generation immigrants from Jamaica. He was born and raised in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, England, where he attended High Oakham Primary School, The Brunts Academy, and eventually West Nottinghamshire College. He subsequently went on to study at the University of Westminster, where he earned a degree in computer game design and programming.
Robinson worked in the IT industry before becoming a teacher. He became the head of the IT department at St Mary’s and St John’s Church of England School in Hendon, where he taught computer science. Robinson ran as the Brexit Party’s candidate for Broxtowe in the 2019 general election, but dropped out to support the Conservative candidate.
