Category A Schools in Ghana 2023
The Ministry of Education in collaboration with Ghana Education Service (GES) and TVET Service have released updated list of Category A Senior High Schools, TVET and SHTS in Ghana to guide Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) graduates in the School Selection process.
According to the Ministry of Education, the list of schools will guide students to make appropriate selection of category A schools.
The list of Category A schools includes three categories of second cycle instructions. Namely;
1. Senior High Schools (SHS)
2. Senior High Technical Schools (SHTS)
3. TVET
Below is the full list of category A schools, their regions, districts, status, gender, programmes and school type.
