Cecilia Dapaah arrested for over $1 million, €300,000 stolen money scandal

The Office of the Special Prosecutor has officially arrested Cecilia Abena Dapaah, the former Minister of SAnitation and Water Resources.

In a statement released by the Special Prosecutor, it was revealed that the arrest was in connection to reports of significant sums of money and valuable items reportedly stolen from Ms. Dapaah’s residence. The Office of the Special Prosecutor acted on numerous reports submitted by concerned individuals, urging an immediate investigation into the matter.

Authorized officers from the Office of the Special Prosecutor are currently questioning Ms. Dapaah as part of their investigation into the suspected corruption and the alleged theft of large amounts of money from her residence.
