Community Citizen Service, a non-governmental organization owned by Master David Asiedu Korankye, the current Oguaa Hall President at the University of Cape Coast recently conducted its annual breast cancer awareness and screening initiative.
The outreach program, aimed at educating women and young ladies about the importance of breast screening and raising awareness about breast cancer, was held in several schools and communities, including Adjei-Kojo TMA JHS, Klagon Municipal Assembly, and Klagon JHS.
During the initiative, numerous students were screened, and those found to have potential issues were referred to the New Crystal Hospital – Ashaiman Branch for further evaluation and treatment.
This effort reflects the organization’s commitment to promoting health education and ensuring early detection of breast cancer in the community.
