Diploma backlog Teachers from 2018 to 2020 cry out for employment

The diploma holders from the 46 accredited public Colleges of Education in Ghana bring to the attention of the government a pressing matter that has left them unemployed for so long.
According to the unemployed teachers, since the introduction of the licensure exam in 2018, diploma backlogs have occurred, affecting graduates from 2018 to 2020.
The group disclosed that despite writing several letters to the previous government, their pleas for employment opportunities fell on deaf ears. The Ministry of Education cited financial clearance from the Ministry of Finance as the reason, but their follow-up letters to the Ministry of Finance were met with silence.
They also indicated that their picketing efforts also yielded no results.
With the new government in place, they hope that their situation will be revisited and addressed. The said group of unemployed dildo backlog teachers believe that the current administration is committed to creating jobs and promoting the welfare of Ghanaian citizens, particularly graduates eager to serve their country; therefore, they want their plea should be taken into consideration.
They urge the government to invite them, have a talk, consider their employment applications, and provide them with opportunities to contribute to Ghana’s development.
Further, they stated that they are not seeking handouts or favors but rather a chance to prove themselves and demonstrate their capabilities as graduates.
To end, they concluded that they look forward to a response regarding the steps the government will take to address their concerns.
