VIDEO: Dismissal of Prof. Kwasi Opoku-Amankwa Disappointing – NAGRAT President

Angel Carbonu and Director General of GES
The President of the National Association of Graduate Teachers, Mr. Angel Carbonu says he is disappointed at the dismissal of the Director General of the Ghana Education Service Prof. Kwasi Opoku-Amankwa.
Speaking in an interview with Citi Tv, Mr. Angel Carbonu stated that they have held series of meetings with the dismissed Director General of the education management body and have made headway on many issues concerning teachers.
Some of the issues that Mr. Angel Carbonu disclosed in his interview about holding series of meetings with the management of the Ghana education service are in relation with problems with the promotion of teachers and unpaid allowances.
“A lot of our discussions with him had reached advanced stages. So for this termination to come at this time, I think there is someone at the Jubilee House who is not aware of the work going on at the GES. As far as I am concerned, this controversial termination is going to affect us.” Mr. Angel Carbonu stated in an interview.
