Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Vice President and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has delivered a motivational message to the 2023 WASSCE graduates, urging them not to be disheartened by those attempting to undermine and belittle their accomplishments in the exams.

The 2023 WASSCE cohort, representing the fourth wave of graduates under the Free SHS policy, has achieved remarkable academic results, with a significant number of students performing exceptionally well. Their collective performance has been hailed as one of the finest in recent times.

While the success of these students has garnered widespread praise, former President John Mahama has sought to downplay their achievements by alleging collusion between students and teachers to cheat in the exams as the reason for their favorable results.
