Dr. Bawumia resumes campaign; Commissions major projects of NPP in Northern Region
The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana His Excellency Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia on Saturday, 21st November, 2020 resumed his campaign tour with visit to the Northern region. He used the opportunity to commissioned some projects of the New Patriotic Party government in the Region.
The Vice President started the day by joining durbars of chiefs and people of Nakpalia and Munegu in the Zabzugu Constituency. He also commissioned an electricity project for the people of Munegu and the surrounding communities.

The running mate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), also graced a durbar of chiefs and people of Yendi, paid a courtesy call on His Majesty Ya-Na Abukari II in Yendi, where he commissioned the Yendi central mosque, a dormitory and class room block at Yendi Senior High school.
He later addressed a durbar of chiefs and people of Naa Loari in the Mion constituency and paid a courtesy call on the Mion Lana, Alhaji Abdulai Mahamadu.

According to Dr. Bawumia, It was good hearing the people of Dagbon appreciate the efforts of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to bring perpetual unity to the kingdom and also bring development to all.
He therefore urged the elders and people to continue living in unity and make Dagbon’s progress their ultimate goal.
