Dr. Okoe Boye explains why he received the ‘fake’ Dr. UN Award
Kwame Owusu Fordjour popularly called Dr. U.N who initiated the controversial leadership award scheme, titled Global Blueprint Excellence Award has been trending for the past week for successfully scamming some high profiled personalities in the country.
However, one of the recipients of the fake United Nations award, the deputy Minister for Health and the Member of Parliament for the Ledzokuku Constituency, Hon. Bernard Okoe Boye has explained why he availed himself to receive the award.
Speaking in an interview on Good Morning Ghana, Dr. Bernard Okoe Boye explained that, he is a Public Officer and a Politician and he allows anyone who wants to meet him on issues to do so because he is a servant of the people.
The deputy health minister also added that, upon receiving the citation from Dr. Kwame Owusu Fordjour in his office, he felt that there was something wrong with Dr. Kwame Owusu Fordjour and because of that, he didn’t attend the main awards ceremony.
