Eight young footballers who died in bus accident at Offinso laid to rest

The Eight Players of a Colts team who passed away after they were injured in an accident whiles they were returning home after travelling to Afrancho – a suburb of Kumasi-to register for the upcoming season are being laid to rest today.

According to the informati on available to coverghana, the eight (8) young Ghanaian footballers died while four others are currently fighting for their lives at a hospital after the driver of the bus carrying them lost control and the vehicle plunged into a the Offinso river on Saturday 19 September 2020.


The other members of the team numbering about Twenty-four (24) other kids are currently receiving treatment at the St. Patrick Hospital in Offinso after the accident.

The young footballers who passed on are pupularly called; Costa, Jamil, Sam, Azonto, Atta, Pepe and Kofi.
