Election 2020: NPP’s Round 2 Versus NDC’s Rescue Mission
In Ghana, election Campaigns between the National Democratic Congress and the New Patriotic Party are largely characterised Political Campaigns songs, and Political rhetorics.
In the Previous 2016 general election, the then opposition New Patriotic Party adopted the term ‘Change is Coming’ and the then ruling National Democratic Congress also adopted the statement ‘Changing lives Transforming Ghana’
With only few months to this year’s December 7, 2020 Parliamentary and Presidential elections the two major Political parties in the country have found a themselves statements and rhetorics that they think will help them communicate with and convince the electorate.
It could observed that, many top Government officials in the ruling New Patriotic Party have started wearing dresses with the inscription ROUND 2 with a drawing depicting the President’s spectacle as symbol below it which many people believe means give President Nana Akufo Addo a Second round or Second Term to continue his good work.
However, some top party officials of the opposition National Democratic Congress have also been spotted wearing dresses with the inscription THE RESCUE MISSION boldly written on them which means I that they are coming to rescue the country from the bad bad Governance of the ruling New Patriotic Party.
