#EndSARS: Manifest says the Collective silence of African Union & ECOWAS is deafening
Manifest speaks on EndSARS
Ghanaian rapper Kwame Ametepee Tsikata Popularly called Manifest says the collective silence of the African Union and the Economic Community of West African States is deafening.
These comments from Manifest comes after several days of mass protest and rioting in Nigeria against brutalities on citizens by the country’s Special Anti-robbery Squad (SARS).
Hundreds of Thousands of Nigerians hit the streets in protest against instructions from the country’s security Personnels which has led to soldiers shooting into crowds of protesters killing some persons and injuring others.
Commenting on the ongoing EndSARS impasse which the African Union and ECOWAS have failed to speak on, Ghanaian rapper Manifest in a tweet indicated that the silence of the two Regional Organisations is deafening. The rapper wrote on his Twitter handle;
Collective silence of AU & ECOWAS is deafening. That needs to change ASAP. #EndSARS

As usual, many Ghanaians reacted to the tweet made by Manifesto.
I-tee commented;
Please stop referring to those international organizations that fold their arms when the citizens are complaining of oppression but only wake up to condemn in strong terms when the citizens fight for their rights or defend themselves.

Yo ! Manifest it takes at least 30days for these organisations to step in any country’s problem is part of their laws let’s be guided! Probably tweet they should change the laws of the organisation than blaming them.

They sit until things get worse and they pretend to fix it, they turned off power in lekki Nigeria unmounted street cameras and started shooting at protesters at the lekki toll booth, but failed to address the youth and their concerns.

Very true..It’s unaccepted..and quite surprising they waiting for escalations before they speak abt this..Maybe we must join the protest to push our President who is the chairman of Ecowas to speak #EndSARS #SARSMUSTEND

Until we as a country realize that International communities are not for us except the situation is favorable to them, then we are not ready for the change we deserve.
