In an interview on 3FM Drive, hosted by Giovanni Caleb and AJ Sarpong, the acclaimed Gospel artist, who is married to Mr. Hopeson Yaovi Adorye, a prominent political figure in the New Patriotic Party, opened up about her evolving perspective on romance and her experiences with different cultures.

She candidly admitted, “Initially, I held the belief that Ewe men lacked romantic gestures. This notion was instilled in me by my mother.

However, being married to one has taught me a great deal. I encountered a kind-hearted gentleman who always seeks the best for me, referring to my husband.

One aspect that I truly admire about him is his unwavering support for me, even when I’m publicly wrong. Yet, when we are alone at home, he guides me back onto the right path.”

Empress Gifty championed the idea of immersing oneself in diverse cultures to gain firsthand experiences before forming judgments.

She emphasized the importance of engaging with individuals from various backgrounds to truly grasp their essence.

Reflecting on her personal growth, she stated, “In the past, I held preconceived notions about people from different tribes.

However, I have learned that it is essential to establish genuine connections, interact with them, and have personal experiences before making any judgments.”
