First Cohort of B.Ed: 19 out of 265 graduated with First Class Honors from Accra College of Education

A total of 265 students, consisting of 172 males and 93 females, successfully graduated from the  Accra College of Education.

Out of the entire graduating population, 19 students, accounting for 7% of the total, achieved First Class Honors. Furthermore, 152 students, making up 57% of the graduands, earned Second Class Upper honors.

Additionally, 72 students, comprising 27% of the graduating cohort, received Second Class Lower honors. Lastly, 22 students, constituting 8% of the graduands, obtained Third Class honors.

It is worth noting that no student graduated with a Pass or below Third Class Honors, marking a significant milestone for the College as this had never happened before in its history.

On Saturday, June 3, 2023, Accra College of Education held its first Congregation for the 2022 cohort of the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) Programme.

The event was vibrant and well-attended by esteemed guests, including the Minister of Education, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, and other distinguished dignitaries.

This Congregation marked a historic moment as it was the first time the College organized such an event since the introduction of Bachelor of Education programs into Colleges of Education in 2018.
