Free SHS has come to stay – John Dramani Mahama

Former President and the flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama has said that the free Senior High School policy has come to stay.

Speaking during a visit to Yaa Naa’s palace at Yendi, John Dramani Mahama revealed that, the free Senior High School program has come to stay and asked the people of Yendi to ignore Anyone who tells them that he will cancel the program when he is elected President.

Mr. John Dramani Mahama said:

If anyone tells you that I John Dramani Mahama son of E. A Mahama will abolish the free Senior High School when I come, tell the person,he is a bloody liar. What am against is the poor implementation of the free Senior High School which is creating great inconvenience for the parents, for the students and for the teachers.

John Dramani Mahama explained that, he has said it several times that, we can implement the free Senior High School program better than it is being done now if the current Government have followed their plan of continuing with the building of the 200 SHSs that they were building so that they would not be facing the current problems that the country is facing now.
