The Member of Parliament for North Tongu Constituency Mr. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has announced the final funeral arrangements of his beloved late father.
A delegation of Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa and Allied families on Friday, August 6th, 2021 called on the Speaker of Parliament Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin and leadership of Parliament to officially announce the funeral arrangements of the late Theophilus Brown Kisseh Okudzeto, father of the North Tongu Member of Parliament.

The delegation was led by His Royal Highness Togbega Patamia Dzekley VII, Paramount Chief of Battor Traditional Area who is also the Vice President of the Volta Regional House of Chiefs and Member of the National House of Chiefs.
According to Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa and Allied families, the final funeral is slated for Saturday, 14th August, 2021.
The leader of the delegation used the opportunity to invite the Speaker and the leadership of Parliament to Battor on Saturday, August 14th, 2021 to mourn with them.
Akufo-Addo announces new protocols for funeral arrangements in the country
In extending parliament’s condolences to the bereaved families, the Speaker of Parliament described the son of the deceased, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa as an “arrow head” of parliament while the leader of the minority caucus in parliament also described the North Tongu MP as one of his “best arsenals” in parliament.
Present were the leadership of the Volta National Democratic Congress (NDC) MPs Caucus in Parliament and NDC Volta Regional Secretary.
