GAMLS expresses confidence in Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh’s leadership as Health Minister

The leadership and the entire membership of the Ghana Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists (GAMLS) appreciate the President of Ghana, H.E John Dramani Mahama for nominating Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh as the Minister of Health designate.

GAMLS indicated that they have closely followed Hon. Akandoh’s contributions over the years, particularly his notable work as the ranking member of the Select Committee on Health in Parliament during the tenure of the 8th Parliament of the 4th Republic.

Based on that, they strongly believe that he is the right man to handle the Ministry of Health.

“We are confident that Hon. Akandoh will excel as a Health Minister when approved. We look forward to supporting him to address the challenges facing the health sector and transforming the health sector into a preferred hub for Health Tourism. We wish him a smooth vetting and approval process.
