GES announces vacancy at Upper East Regional Education Office
The Regional Director of Education for the Upper East Region Mr. Bright Lawoe has announced that a vacancy exists for Science, Technology, Mathematics, and Innovation Education (STIME) at the Regional Education Office.
The office is inviting applications from suitable and qualified serving professional teachers for consideration for appointment.
NEEDED QUALIFICATION
- Must be a Graduate Professional teacher with at least ten (10) years of teaching practice.
- Must have at least a First Degree in any science-related programme from a recognized university.
- Must be on the grade of Deputy Director and must have been on that grade for a minimum of at least two (2) years and be able to serve for at least five (5) years before going on compulsory retirement.
- Applicants on the grade of Assistant Director I must have been on that grade for a minimum of at least Five (5) years and be able to serve for at least five (5) years before going on compulsory retirement.
- Must be able to work under little or no supervision.
- Must be computer literate with familiarity in MS Office Word, MS Excel, and MS-PowerPoint
- A Master’s Degree in the relevant subject area would be an added advantage.
- In addition to the above, the applicant must have satisfactory conduct and work history with the Ghana Education Service.
