GES cautions school authorities against payment of money for 2022 SHS admission process

The Director-General, Professor Kwasi Opoku-Amankwa led Ghana Education Service has cautioned school authorities against payment or collection of money for 2022 SHS admission process.
School authorities from Senior High Schools (SHS)/ Senior High Technical Schools (SHTS) and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Institutes are cautioned that, under no circumstance should there be a demand for money that would hinder the admission process of any of the 2021 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) graduates who have been Placed into various schools.
GES confirms re-opening date for SHS 1 students
According to GES, parents and the general public are to note that the admission process does not involve payment or collection of money.
It’s possible that, any school authority who violates the directive from management of GES is liable for punishment or sanctions.
