GES declares public holiday for Basic Schools

Ghana Education Service (GES) has declared a public holiday for Basic Schools.

Management of GES has declared Thursday, 7th March as a public holiday for all school children in Ghana. This relief is to enable school children to have some rest after preparing vigorously for the Independence Day Anniversary Parade. The declaration was signed by Cassandra Twum Ampofo Head, Public Relations Unit.

Additionally, all schools according to GES are to resume fully on Friday 8th March 2024. All parents and guardians are therefore to take note.
