GES pays 1st batch of 2019 transfer grants and 4th quarter allowances

The Ghana Education Service has announced the payment of the 1st batch of 2019 Transfer Grants and 4th Quarter of all other allowances to qualified staff in various regions. The payments were made only to staff who met the necessary requirements and submitted the required documentation.
According to the Ghana Education Service, the Transfer Grants were paid to staff who had been transferred from one geographical area, location, or station to another, which is 50 kilometers radius or more as stipulated in the Category 2 and 3 Allowances for the Public Services.

The payments were made to the following regions: Ashanti, Bono, Bono East, Eastern, Northern, Upper West, Western, Volta, and Oti. Management of the Ghana Education Service has assured other deserving applicants that efforts are being made to ensure the payments of their transfer grants and other allowances.
The Ghana Education Service is committed to ensuring that its staff are fairly compensated for their work and will continue to prioritize the timely payment of allowances and other benefits.
