GES Recruitment: GES announces recruitment of 2022 Degree holders from Colleges of Education

Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced the recruitment of 2022 Degree holders from all the 46 accredited Colleges of Education. The Service is requesting applications from qualified trained teachers who graduated with first degree from only Public Colleges of Education, to be considered for employment.

GES Recruitment: Job Purpose

1. To facilitate Learning using 21st Century technology
2. Continuously improve learner’s ability to research using new technologies
3. Teach highly motivated learners, cater for learners with different learning abilities, and help them achieve excellent academic results
4. Attend relevant and continuous professional development sessions
5. Use a variety of assessment tools and tasks to accurately assess levels of learners’ competency
6. Any other responsibility that would be assigned to you by your Head of Institution

GES Recruitment Criteria

Applicant must meet the following criteria for consideration

Below are the listed criteria for consideration into GES for newly trained teachers:

1. Completed College of Education in 2022 and has no outstanding examination or referrals.

2. Completed the mandatory National Service.

3. Passed the National Teacher Licensure Examination.

4. Ready to work wherever his/her services would be needed.

Qualified applicants are to apply through the GES portal www.gespromotions.gov.gh and continue with the process.

GES Recruitment: Application Start Date & Deadline

GES in their official announcement on Saturday, May 11, 2024, stated that the recruitment portal will be open for sending applications on 15th May 2024. The deadline for the GES Recruitment (2022 Batch) application submission as announced is 17th June 2024.

The following documents MUST be uploaded onto the GES Recruitment Portal for application consideration:

1. Degree Certificate

2. NSS Certificate

3. NTC Licensure Number

4. Ghana card

5. Passport-sized photograph
