Prince Gyimah’s comment came after the December 7 General Election. He delved deep into helping the Ghanaian space for a proper recovery and calling for a transformative approach that leverages both gradual progress and radical innovation.
“As Ghana prepares for the dawn of a new government, there is an urgent need to reflect on the nation’s journey and chart a path that blends evolution with revolution. The societal challenges that have long plagued our country—such as poverty, unemployment, and poor infrastructure—require more than just policy changes or leadership shifts; they demand a transformative approach that leverages both gradual progress and radical innovation.”

“Evolution, by definition, involves gradual improvement over time. In the context of Ghana’s development, this could mean reinforcing existing systems that are working, while making steady improvements where needed. Our education sector, for example, has seen significant progress in recent years, with increased access to schooling and improved curricula.
“However, the quality of education and alignment with global standards must continue to evolve.
