The Member of Parliament for Builsa South Constituency Dr. Clement Apaak says Ghana’s democracy is indeed at a crossroad, it’s endangered.

According to the Lawmaker, a Deputy Speaker cannot purport to overturn a lawful rejection of a hopeless and wicked budget by counting himself, deploying constitutional acrobatics, aided by the participation of an imposter.

Minority outlines five conditions under which 2022 budget will be approved


Mr. Apaak believes that, the lawful rejection of the 2022 Budget Statement and Economic Policy followed proper procedures and processes overseen by the substantive Speaker, without constitutional gymnastics and the participation of an imposter.

Parliament rejects 2022 Budget Statement

The Deputy Ranking Member on Parliament’s Education Committee said, “we are closing in on exposing the imposter/fraudster, and those who assisted such criminality.”

Parliament approves 2022 Budget Statement in the absence of Minority 

He reiterated the Minority Caucus position that, “We no go sit down make them cheat us everyday! In Solidarity!”
