GNAT Mutual Fund monthly minimum contribution

The National Council of the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) has taken a collective decision to increase GNAT Mutual Fund monthly contribution from GH¢50 to GH¢100.

The resolution passed indicated that, the increment in the minimum contribution to the Mutual Fund will affect every member of the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT).

The deduction, according to the decision will be done at source by the Controller and Accountant General’s Department (CAGD).

Effective date for GNAT Mutual Fund minimum contribution Increment

According to the National Council, which is the second highest decision making body of the Association, the minimum contribution of GH¢50.00 to the Mutual Fund will be increase to GH¢100.00 effective January 2024.

This decision was taken by the leadership of Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) at a National Council meeting at GNAT Village-Abankro, Ejisu from Tuesday 26th to Friday 29th September, 2023.

The GNAT National Council is the second highest decision making body of the Association and do meet once a year to discuss matters of concern.
