Grand launch of Ghana Youth President slated for June 11

The Grand Launch of the Youth Leadership Parliament’s initiative Ghana’s Youth President Season 3 competition is slated for June 11 2022 at the University of Ghana.

The initiative, founded by Mr Kobby Fabian Esq. in the United Kingdom was introduced to Ghana in 2016. It has nurtured and mentored hundred of young people across the length and breath of Ghana in the pathway of leadership.

The founder, in a recent interview made it known that Ghana doesn’t need money but leadership.


According to him, our woes as a country is the deficit of competent leadership that rises above extreme partisanship and therefore it is non-negotiable to build the capacity and invest in our youth, the values that makes great leaders in any successful country.

The Parliament, which is the biggest Model Parliament in Ghana offers mentorship for the youth to be Presidents, Ministers, Members of Parliament and Diplomats.

The Ghana’s Youth President is in partnership with EIB Network and would be broadcast on GHONETV .

It is a leadership competition for young leaders to compete each other on policy ideas that indentifies problems in communities either as a President, Minister or Member of Parliament and presenting solutions that could help solve these problems.

The winners of the competition are expected to receive awards from the Millennium Youth Impact Awards under the following categories;

1. Youth President of Ghana
2. Best Youth Ministers
3. Best Members of Parliament.

The individuals are also assisted to undertake a project to impact lives in their communities.

Mr. Fabian believes leadership must never be experimental but intentional with a clear precision of knowledge, one of the reason for initiating the Ghana’s Youth President.
