GTLE 1 2024 Registration for degree holders and PGDE Holders: How to register for GTLE papers
The National Teaching Council (NTC) has opened the portal for GTLE 1 2024 Registration for degree holders and PGDE Holders.
The March 2024 resit registration portal for all prospective teachers who failed in the September 2023 GTLE is also open now.
As part of making the registration process easy to skip the queue, the Council has joined forces with the telecommunications network companies in Ghana to generate a special code for this exercise.
How to register for GTLE licensure papers
Be reminded that the registration is in two (2) folds.
1. Ghana Teacher Licensure Indexing. You will pay for the Indexing separately.
2. Examination Registration Fees. You have to pay the registration fee also differently.
The two (2) payment qualifies you to write the GTLE Resit paper(s) you have failed in. Fresh candidates also have to pay for indexing too.

GTLE 1 March 2024: Registration Fees
You are to pay Indexing fee which costs GH¢50. This fee cannot be escaped. You MUST pay it in addition to the cost of paper(s) you will sit for but it is done separately.
Kindly read the fees below carefully.
- Fresh Candidates: GH¢450
- Resit Candidates (1 Paper): GH¢150
- Resit Candidates (2 Papers) GH¢210
- Resit Candidates (3 Papers) GH¢385
GTLE 1 March 2024 Registration Deadline
Registration starts on 20th January 2024 and ends on 20th February 2024 (1month).
