GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

MASTER DEGREE PROGRAMMES:

Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower in a related field of study

BACHELOR DEGREE PROGRAMMES

1. HND and Equivalent Diploma Holders

Applicants must possess a minimum of Second Class Lower in a related field of study. Successful applicants will be admitted into level 300.

II. SSSCE/WASSCE Holders

Credit Passes(A-C)/ (A1-C6) in six (6) subjects including English Language, Core Mathematics, and Integrated Science/ Social Studies plus three (3) relevant elective subjects.

III. TVET Certificate Holders

A. Certificate II holders: Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science/Social Studies plus three

(3) relevant trade courses

B. Technician Part III Holders

IV. GBCE Holders

Six (6) GBCE credits including English Language, Business Mathematics, and Integrated Science/Social Studies.

V. Mature Applicants

Applicants who are 25 years and above are eligible to apply.

HND PROGRAMMES:

I. SSSCE/WASSCE Holders

Non-Tertiary Applicants – GHC 150

ONLINE APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Go to http://app.htu.edu.gh/admissions / on the internet after you have purchased an admission E-voucher.

2. Log on to the Online Admissions System with the Serial Number and PIN of the voucher.

3. Follow the steps on the Online Admission system to complete your application.

4. Upon completing and submitting your online application, a form number will be generated automatically and sent to you as an SMS.

5. Enclose in an envelope, a printed copy of your completed online application declaration form, together with Photocopies of Certificate(s) or Result Slip(s) and a passport picture.

6. For mature applicants, enclose proof of your date of birth i.e. birth certificate together with any supporting document(s).

7. For top-up degree applicants, add copies of your original transcripts and a copy of the certificate to the declaration form and a passport-size photograph.

8. For international applicants, log on to http://app.htu.edu.gh/admissions/ to access an admission E-voucher for free

and follow the instructions to complete the application form.
