Hon. Gabby Hottordze commissions solar powered ultramodern mechanized borehole in Adidome SHS

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Central Tongu Constituency, Hon. Alexander Gabby Hottordze, in partnership with TEIMAKO BLESSINGS ORGANIZATION, a Turkish NGO based in Ghana, has commissioned a Solar Powered Ultramodern Mechanized Borehole for Adidome Senior High School in the Volta Region.

The facility will serve over 4000 people daily, including students, staff, and management of the school.

The MP, who played a pivotal role in lobbying for the project, also provided labor services for the construction of the Solar Powered Mechanized Borehole.

The aim of the project is to alleviate the persistent water challenges that have been confronting the school’s community.

At the commissioning service, the MP was represented by Brilliant Farhad Ibn Okudzeto, Constituency Communications Officer, Hon. Moses Awukuvi, Assemblyman for Mafi-Dove and a Teacher at Adidome SHS, and Margaret Amu, Headmistress of Girls Model Basic School, Farm Institute, Adidome. Other dignitaries present at the event were Issa Mohammed, Central Tongu District Chief Imam, representatives of TEIMAKO BLESSINGS ORG, management, staff, and students of Adidome SHS.

Hon. Alexander Gabby HOTTORDZE has also successfully lobbied for similar Solar Powered Ultramodern Mechanized Borehole projects to be built in other towns in the Central Tongu Constituency, including Mafi-Wute, Mafi-Dove, Mafi-Norgbedzikoe, and Mafi-Kumase SHTS, with work already progressing steadily at Mafi-Kumase SHTS.

The commissioning of the Solar Powered Ultramodern Mechanized Borehole for Adidome Senior High School is a significant development that will go a long way to improve the quality of education and life for students, staff, and management of the school. It is hoped that more initiatives such as this will be undertaken by the government and other stakeholders to improve the quality of education in Ghana.
