Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa who is the member of Parliament for the North Tongu Constituency has donated laptop computers to circuit supervisors in his Constituency.
Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has rolled out an initiative dubbed North Tongu MP’s Laptop Distribution Programme through which he earlier distributed laptops to assembly members and some health administrative staff in the Constituency.
Earlier today, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa donated ten HP laptops to Circuit Supervisors in the North Tongu Constituency.
Below is what Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa wrote on his Facebook Page after the donation of the Laptops to the Circuit Supervisors.
It was the turn of all Circuit Supervisors (School Improvement Support Officers) in my beloved constituency to receive their laptops this morning as we continue with the North Tongu MP’s Laptop Distribution Programme.
I also hosted a breakfast meeting to explore ways of enhancing our pandemic support system which ensures that students at home are constantly provided with reading materials and other innovative mechanisms aimed at meeting our objective of not leaving any child behind, particularly in rural communities where children are more disadvantaged in this Covid era.
It is my expectation that in addition to the new pick up truck for the District Education Directorate and the motorbikes I donated to all Circuit Supervisors some three years ago, they will be better equipped to perform their critical functions leading to efficient monitoring and improved quality.
