Hon. Woyome appointed Chair of Ghana Olympic Committee of Government Relations and Stakeholders Subcommittee

The former Member of Parliament for South Tongu Constituency and past Chairman of Parliament’s Youth, Sports and Culture Committee has been appointed Chairperson of the Ghana Olympic Committee of Government Relations and Stakeholders Subcommittee.
In a letter dated August 12, 2025, GOC Secretary General Mohammed Muniru Kassim congratulated him and pledged the Committee’s support.
This new subcommittee, created under GOC President Richard Kofi Akpokavie, will help guide government policies and strengthen stakeholder relations in sports, in line with the International Olympic Committee’s framework.
Hon. Woyome’s appointment reflects his long-standing commitment to sports and youth development in Ghana.
