To comply with this directive, customers of Bank of Ghana regulated financial institutions need to update their records with their respective financial institutions with the Ghana Card.

Linking the Ghana Card to a bank account is a straightforward process that can be done online. Here are the steps to follow for linking the Ghana Card to some of the banks in Ghana:

Linking Ghana Card to GCB Bank Account Online

To link your Ghana Card to your GCB Bank Account online, follow these simple steps:

1. Visit https://epay.gcbltd.com:200/
2. Click on the “Link My Card” option.
3. Enter your bank account number and click on the “Continue” option.
4. Select an option to receive an authentication code either through email or phone number.
5. Enter the authentication code to verify and authenticate that you are the owner of the account.
6. Enter the Personal ID Number on your Ghana Card.
7. Take a photo of your Ghana Card and upload.

Checking the Ghana Card Linkage Status of Your GCB Bank Account

To check the linkage status of your Ghana Card to your GCB Bank Account, follow these simple steps:

1. Visit https://epay.gcbltd.com:200
2. Click on the “Ghana Card Linkage Status” option.
3. Enter your Ghana Card number and click on the “Continue” option.

Linking Ghana Card to Zenith Bank Account Online

To link your Ghana Card to your Zenith Bank Account online, follow these simple steps:

1. Visit https://apps2.zenithbank.com.gh/ghanacard/
2. Provide your account number, date of birth, and phone number, and then click the submit button.
3. Enter your Ghana Card details to link the card and account number.

Linking Ghana Card to ABSA Bank Account

To link your Ghana Card to your ABSA Bank Account, simply upload a scanned copy of your Ghana Card to the following email address: ghanacardupdates@absa.africa.
