How to Register on the DVLA Online Portal

1. Visit online.dvla.gov.gh/sign_in to begin the DVLA registration process.
2. Click on “signup free” at the bottom of the Sign-in page.
3. Select “Individual” in the Popup menu.
4. Fill in the following details under the Basic Information tab:
   • Select your title (Mr. or Mrs).
   • Select your gender (Male or female).
   • Enter your date of birth in the following order (Day, Month, and Year).
   • Select where you were born (Place of birth).
   • Enter your surname, first name, and middle name (if any).
   • Enter your employer’s name (e.g., self-employed).
   • Select your nationality.
   • Enter your previous name (if any).
   • Select the type of ID card you want to use for identity (e.g., Voters ID, National ID, Health Insurance, SSNIT, or Passport).
5. Enter the ID card number in the ID No. column.
6. Click on Next.
7. Under the Contact Information tab, enter the following information:
   • Your postal address (e.g., P.O. Box 23).
   • Enter the town of the postal address in the city column (e.g., Teshie – Accra).
   • Select your region from the drop-down list.
   • Enter your email address in the email address column.
   • Enter the name of your area in the “suburb” column.
   • Enter your street address in the “street address” column.
   • Enter your house number.
   • Enter your mobile phone number in the mobile number column.
8. Click on Next to move to the next step.
9. Under the Account Credentials tab, enter the following information:
   1. Enter a name you can easily recall in the user name column.
   2. Enter a preferred password in the password column.
   3. Repeat the password in the “confirm password” column.
10. Click Next to continue.
11. On the next page, you will see a preview of all the details you had entered in the previous three pages.
12. Review the details to be sure that everything is correct and click on the Next button.
13. If you have any wrongly entered data, click on the edit button at the top of each table to edit it before moving on.
14. At this point, you have successfully registered on the DVLA Online Portal.

How to Sign In on the Online DVLA Portal

1. Visit online.dvla.gov.gh/sign_in to sign in to the DVLA Online Portal.
2. Enter the username and password you created during the registration process.
3. Click the sign-in button.
4. If your username and password are correct, you will be successfully signed in to the DVLA Online Portal.
5. Now, you can access all the DVLA online services.
