Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Honourable Member of Parliament for the North Tongu Constituency in the Volta Region has indicated that, he has never chartered a private jet in his life.
The North Tongu legislature made this known at the back of allegations raised by sympathisers of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) as a way of defending the president’s constant hiring of private jets for traveling.
Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa is known for his constant uproar at the President for neglecting the Presidential jet and rather resorting to hiring of private jet for travelling even as at a time when the Ghanaian economy is facing massive crisis.
He further questioned why the NPP government has not investigated him, if they believe he, during his days as the Deputy Minister for Education really hired private jets that could cost between US$10,000 to US$18,000.
Okudzeto Ablakwa further indicated that, politics of lies, illogic and concoctions will always leave those involved embarrassed. A typical example, he indicated, was how it was widely spread that he owned a filling station and asked where that has ended.
