I regret not getting married to my baby daddy -Akuapem Poloo discloses

Ghanaian Actress, Rosemond Brown, popularly referred to as Akuapem Poloo has let out her mistakes from her marital perspective and regrets not marrying the father of her son.

In a radio interview, the socialite, Akuapem Poloo disclosed that she needs a child currently but she wants to tie the knot with whoever wants to marry her first before.

Recalling her past actions, she revealed that she got pregnant along the way coupled with other issues.

The father of her son promised marriage also but some challenges came their way which made them go their separate ways.

Due to the popped-up circumstances, she took care of their son singlehandedly without his help.

Talking about her regret, she said she has learned from her past life and hopes for the best.

Reflecting, she said she has put a stop to her social media facade and now focusing on a lot that will build her for the best.

Akuapem Poloo further expressed what informs her current wish saying

“Now that I am mature and of age, I want to have another child. But I have prayed for Allah’s guidance to help me get married first. I do not wish to repeat the same mistakes I made in the past when I was young. My goal is to marry before having another child, ideally within this year or the next.”

The Actress did not give much insight about what brought the breakup but she spoke about dating and marriage where she said dating has proven to be more challenging than marriage.

Explaining her thoughts on dating and marriage, she disclosed that “For the past seven years I have been dating, and I am still dating. The intention of not repeating the same mistakes is the reason I am dating this guy. Although I don’t regret giving birth, I regret not getting married to the man I gave birth with.”

Talking about endurance right from dating to marriage, she shared her experience.

“I love the seven years because we’ve known each other well and I know what he wants and what he doesn’t want. If I have been able to endure for seven years, I will have had experience before marriage. Nowadays, dating is even harder than marriage.”

Sharing her words of encouragement she cautioned all girls to be very cautious about men who use their money or/ wealth to attract them into a relationship because the institution of marriage is not only about money. There must be a healthy relationship that should accompany all.
