The founding father of Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), Kofi Akpaloo in a statement promised his support amounting to $1 billion in Ghana Football if he becomes the President of Ghana in 2025.
The Politician, Kofi Akpaloo said he will invest largely in Ghana Football with the intention of creating job opportunities for the youth and unearthing talents of young Ghanaians as a whole.
Speaking on a Kumasi-based radio station, he said, investing in Ghana Football will plough great returns which can be used to develop other sectors of the economy if they invest the right way.
The founder and leader of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), noted that his desire to invest massively in football is to ensure that Ghana wins the World Cup in the future.
“When given the mantle to lead Ghana as President in 2025, I will invest hugely in football so we can build a solid team that can compete and win the competition (World Cup) for Ghana.”
To him, Ghanaians love and supports football. Also, he see a huge business from football therefore when the masses accept him in 2025, he will invest a lumpsum amount of money, $1 billion into the game and reap the returns massively which will be accompanied by employment of citizens in all needed aspect of the proposed business come 2025.
