If I owe you, lets us talk so that I pay you – Cheddar to GRA amid tax evasion allegation

Cheddar born Nana Kwame Bediako, has replied to claims that he has been charged with tax evasion by the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA).
A reliable source at the GRA claims that Cheddar failed to file personal income tax forms from 2013 to 2016, for which he was fined GH¢50,000.00. This news follows the government’s cancellation of Cheddar’s Pan-African event, The Convention, a few weeks prior.
He declared his desire to run for president in the country’s general elections of 2024 after introducing himself as the face of The New Force.
Nana Kwame Bediako denied the claims in response to the accusation of tax avoidance.
“My face was on the newspapers this morning that I don’t pay taxes. I worked in this country for almost 22 or 23 years, and I’ve paid my taxes and I still pay,” he said.
“I have brought over 1500 containers of materials into this country for my real estate projects, and the taxes are a lot, but we have paid all,” he added.
“If the government aims to disgrace me by putting my face in the newspapers, I will say that this face cannot be shamed. Even if I owe you, let us talk so that I pay you; it is not about embarrassing me,” Cheddar highlighted.
